. Charmingly cast and phenomenally so-so.. Often very funny, but it is also surprisingly moving at times.. This feels less like a movie and more like a strategically programmed effort to turn as many demographic groups as possible into mooshy, gooshy, candy-heart-munching morons.. There are enough moments of demented comedy to make you aspirate your popcorn, but by the end you may find yourself, with some amazement, sniffing back tears.. High art? Maybe not. But Valentine's Day certainly goes do...
